In this course, participants will learn the theories underpinning Singapore mathematics to fully understand how the curriculum improves efficacy of students, hands-on learning of how to go about teaching concepts which cover number sense, mental strategies, CPA approach, planning a lesson, assessing understanding and intervention. Should you not be able to attend any live session, you will have access to recorded sessions and I can answer any question you have during the office hour.
It will cover concepts from Grade 1 through 5.
You’re not learning from someone outside of Singapore interpreting Singapore Mathematics pedagogy and curriculum.

I was trained for years at Singapore’s sole teacher-training institution, the National Institute of Education (NIE), including training by curriculum developers of Singapore’s national mathematics curriculum. I have also completed hundreds of hours of professional development with Master Teachers and lecturers within Singapore’s education system, and have spent years studying, teaching, and applying the curriculum both in Singapore and internationally.
So you won’t be getting someone else’s interpretation or translation of Singapore Mathematics.
You’ll be learning the pedagogy as it is practised in Singapore classrooms.
More importantly, these are not simply theories I have studied. I have applied these methodologies with students internationally, including in schools where I was specifically brought in to implement Singapore Mathematics, with outstanding results.
This is the difference between learning about Singapore Mathematics and learning from someone who has actually been trained in it, taught it, implemented it, and lived it.
